OVERVIEW

SoCal Social Club is excited to partner with Out & About Tours -- the first and only gay bus tour in the Hollywood area that reveals, in an entertaining way, the culturally rich, vital and often hidden gay history in the city of Los Angeles and its relevance to our present-day gay experience.

ITINERARY

Start off with a champagne send-off at O&A's Welcome Center at the ONE Archives Gallery & Museum in West Hollywood.

Chug that bubbly and buckle up, because we leave promptly at 1:00 PM in our Mini Luxury Bus and head downtown to see some of the oldest sites still standing in La La Land and what secret gay history they hold. It's pedal to the metal to Echo Park and Silver Lake before we make a stop at The Other Side - LA's last piano bar - for a cocktail and something really special we can't mention here. Then we floor it to the Golden Age of Hollywood and give you plenty of juicy gossip to make you the star of your next soirée. Hang tight as we bomb down the Sunset Strip and back into WeHo for some of our final points of interests. Are you ready to roll?

SCHEDULE

Departs promptly at 1:00pm. Tour lasts approximately 2.5 hrs. We suggest you park in the new West Hollywood parking garage, only steps away from the Welcome Center.

-Drop-Off
The tour will end back at the Welcome Center. After the ride, join us for happy hour at Eleven Nightclub. (8811 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA 90069)

-Things To Bring

Feel free to bring a bottle of water, sunscreen, cash for any desired purchases (and to tip the bus staff), and a camera. You should definitely have a big breakfast or a small lunch before the tour. The tour ends just in time for an early dinner or, more importantly, for happy hour! 

Light snacks and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available.

WEATHER & CANCELLATION POLICY

Refunds will not be given within 1 week prior to scheduled departure date. We will hold a tour unless there is a severe weather warning. In case of severe weather, we will give a full refund to all tour participants. Severe weather includes heavy rainfall and/or thunderstorms. We will contact all guests by noon the day before the tour if we have to cancel due to severe weather.

Out & About Tours reserves the right to cancel or reroute any tour due to acts of nature, tour route conditions, insufficient number of participants or unforeseen circumstances that would hinder our ability to run a successful, safe and enjoyable tour. If Out & About Tours is unable to provide you with another tour that is satisfactory, all moneys paid will be refunded and shall constitute full settlement with you.

If a tour is full, please add your name to the wait list. If enough guests are interested, a double decker bus will replace the mini bus.
